🕊️PEACE COMES TO THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY🕊️
The Coming King Foundation is honored to announce the new “Hill Country Flood Memorial Wall” at The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden in Kerrville, Texas.
This permanent memorial is being established to honor those who lost their lives in the devastating Guadalupe River flood of July 4, 2025, and to recognize the families & community forever changed by the tragedy. It will also honor the thousands of first responders, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community members whose compassion and service helped our community.
The memorial features a 176-foot undulating limestone wall symbolizing the Guadalupe River, along with four large bronze plaques designed for remembrance, healing, hope - all through our Savior and Comforter, Jesus Christ.
The wall is designed to display hundreds of additional custom bronze plaques in four sizes. These plaques will be in honor of victims, families, and all who were affected by the flood, as well as those who served in response, recovery and healing.
This memorial will be unlike any other, in that its primary purpose is to provide emotional and spiritual healing through Christ Jesus to those wounded by the historic tragedy.
The limestone wall and large memorial bronze plaques have been generously donated through the efforts of The Coming King Foundation and several Christian-owned companies: Edmund Jenschke Inc., The Southwell Company, Voelkel Engineering, and Max Greiner, Jr. Designs LLC.
David Broussard of Canton, Texas, is a fellow donor artist with sculptures on display in the garden. He has a vision for a 16-foot Cor-Ten steel cross with 119 stainless steel angels ascending from the river. The design, titled “The River of Angels Cross,”®️ is on display as a 4-foot maquette at Greiner Art & Gift Gallery at the garden entrance.
Max Greiner, Jr. is in the early development stages of a life-size bronze sculpture of Jesus Christ walking on turbulent water while holding the hands of two smiling eight-year-old girls, symbolizing the Kerrville flood and the loss of so many little girls.
Donations and sponsorships will help fund the additional custom bronze plaques along the wall, as well as the planned sculptures to further tell the story of faith, hope, and healing following the flood.

The Coming King Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit “art museum,” and all donations are tax-deductible, helping keep the private park and memorial open and free to the public.
