The Building Art Gallery Makers Gift Shop & Studio 150 South McKean Street Kittanning PA 16201 are thrilled to announce Open Studio will be starting up again in September. Tuesdays from 1-4. This is a very relaxed environment where artist just create amongst other artists . It’s a time of growth no matter your skill level. Come create your art with Robin Lemmon as she guides you through a different project each week. The cost is $50. a week. Projects will be posted Sunday night You can bring your own materials if you have favorites you want to use or I will always have supplies you can use in every medium. The Building Art Gallery Makers Gift Shop & Studio will be adding Wednesday Open Studio from 5-8. This studio will be different from Tuesdays studio because we will be doing a larger project that will cover many mediums . In the process you will create a one of a kind piece of art work for your home. Have you ever wanted to create your own art work, this open studio is for you. The dates are September 9,16,25,30. The cost for Wednesday Open Studio is $200. For the month plus materials. The Building is open from 10–2 today. I am sitting in this beautiful shop in Downtown Kittanning wishing you were here! This has always been a dream of mine to have a gallery to showcase local art and artists. I thought people would love to have a store that they could buy small or large gifts, handmade purses, rugs, paintings or prints of any style or size or even take classes or workshops. I have tried enticing you with mimosas, hot chocolate, popcorn and recently affogatos. The truth is I need you to support me and my artists here at The Building. I know we are half a block off Market, which seems to be a deterrent. We are open for suggestions. I have my regular customers which I am so thankful for your support. Just let me know how we can better serve this community. New art by local artist Lauren Wyels on exhibit in back of shop.

It’s Friday! We are here at The Building Art Gallery Makers Gift Shop & Studio. Robin is Shop Girl today and tomorrow. We will be open from 11-4 Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. Stop in and see the new paintings by local artist, Lauren Wyels.
Lauren will be taking orders for her pet portraits starting this weekend. If you want to see any of her work stop by this weekend and I will show you samples. She has done several local cats and dogs, but she is open to whatever pet you love. Pricing is by size.
