The UT Downtown Gallery was saddened to learn of the death of Howard Hull this past week. Hull served as a faculty member in the Art Education department at UT from 1965 until his retirement in 1999. He continued his painting practice, and in 2019, had a retrospective exhibition at the UT Downtown Gallery. Hull gifted a painting to the Ewing Gallery for inclusion in its permanent collection.
