Mary Virginia Jones is an American woman who was wrongfully convicted in the early 1980s.
She was accused of involvement in a murder case, mainly based on weak evidence and unreliable witness statements. There was no strong physical proof, but she was still found guilty and sent to prison.
She spent around 32 years in jail for a crime she did not commit.
Later, her case was re-examined. New evidence and legal review showed that the conviction was flawed, and she was declared innocent.
In 2017, at the age of 74, she was finally released.
This case highlights serious issues in the justice system such as:
Wrong identification
Lack of proper evidence
Legal errors
Mary Virginia Jones lost more than three decades of her life before the truth came out.

About 6,500 years of history… 😳
This burial site discovered in modern-day Bulgaria’s “Varna Necropolis” (Tomb No. 43) changed the way we understand human civilization.

The world’s oldest processed gold found there shows that our ancestors were not just ordinary people… they had a highly developed civilization, art, and belief system 💛

👑

❓ Why was gold so important in your time?
💬 Gold was a symbol of the sun for us… a sign of power and immortality.

❓ Why were so many weapons and gold placed in the tomb?
💬 We believed in life after death. So we took our power, status, and identity with us.

❓ Why is this discovery so special?
💬 It shows that our civilization was far more advanced… I am not just a person, I am a symbol of an entire era.

💛 History once again proves — human civilization is much older and more advanced than we once thought.

At that age, he used to laugh while sitting on his father’s shoulders, but fate made him learn to cry while holding his father’s casket. Now, all that remains in his little hands are tears… 💔😔

This picture was taken on February 9, 1864, at Mathew Brady's studio in Washington, D.C.

The photographer was Anthony Berger, one of Brady's operators, and the boy beside Lincoln is his youngest son, Thomas "Tad" Lincoln.

The image became one of the most beloved Lincoln portraits because it showed something rarely captured in Civil War photography: the president as a father.

By 1864, Lincoln was carrying the weight of the war, the death of his son Willie, and the daily pressure of command. Most portraits from this period show him solemn, exhausted, or carved down by grief.

Mary Todd Lincoln later said of their bond, "Mr. Lincoln was so devoted to him, that when he came home, he always looked for Tad first."
