🎃NORA STEELE ART:🎃

As a child, I spent much of my time outdoors searching for the fairy folk. While I never found fairies, I discovered something more meaningful…
The quiet magic of the natural world itself. That sense of wonder continues to shape my artwork and educational work today.
For a full decade, I worked as a full-time Naturalist and educator. I loved my work deeply, but in early 2024 I made the difficult decision to step away from my “nine to five” Naturalist position and further pursue my passion for education through Art.
When I left, I carried a lot of guilt for walking away from something I loved, for not being able to “fix” things and for putting my mental health first. But what I have learned since is that people don’t leave good jobs, they leave unhealthy dynamics. And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is to walk away from what’s breaking you, even if it once meant everything to you.
Today, my artwork celebrates the diverse and often overlooked flora and fauna of the region. And looking back, setting out on my own course was the best decision I could have ever made.
Through illustration and education, I hope to inspire curiosity, appreciation, and stewardship of the natural world.
And… if you’re also in that place, questioning yourself and trying to hold it all together, please know that you’re not weak, you’re human. And you’re not alone.

🎃ALL THAT AND A BAR OF SOAP:🎃
Soap was born from some oils and a dream - let me provide all your skin's needs! Growing and learning one bar at a time 🛁
My products are 100% handmade, by me, using quality (and often local) ingredients following my own personal formulations that I tinkered with and tested over and over again until I found what performed to high standards that I also loved. I do my absolute best to offer all-natural but also offer popular scents from fragrance oils when they are not available in essential oils. These fragrances are thoroughly tested to be skin safe and always used at safe percentages!

What started as making soap simply for my family because of a stubborn rash quickly grew into selling to family. Soap turned into lotion turned into bath bombs and suddenly I had an entire line of products! Soon enough I found myself at a farmer’s market, then at vendor shows, and quickly the requests for an online store rolled in, so here I am. I am new to Etsy (technically I opened it years ago but not until early 2025 I'm actually giving a real try), I am still always learning more and more, and I do this not just to make some extra money but to provide quality products at the most affordable prices I can offer. I love this little business and strive to make sure everyone who buys from me loves their product(s). This is my dream, but I can’t keep growing it without YOU!

I have a list of other products that have been requested that I am working on creating or testing formulas for, so check back often! I am also always changing scents and offering new for a variety of products, so keep an eye for those changes as well. You are always welcome to message me with any questions, concerns, or requests you may have. Custom orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

🎃STAHL BOWLS:🎃
Tom Stahl is a segmented wooden bowl maker. His bowls are made from 35 to over 200 individual pieces of domestic and exotic woods. The bowls are designed to be both decorative and fully functional for most foods.
Tom is a 7th generation woodworker. He has made over 4,800 bowls over the last 21 yrs. He lives in Fairfield OH.

🎃RHYTHM & HUES:🎃
“Amy Volquardsen operates her home studio, Rhythm&Hues, in the heart of the Hocking Hills. She earned a BFA and later a BS in Art Education from Ohio University. Amy has honed her skills in various mediums and art forms over the years including photography, ceramics, pencil drawings and design work with work experience as a photographer, portrait touch up artist and teacher. She also operated her family’s custom framing shop and has been commissioned to draw pencil portraits and tattoos, design album covers, paint murals and portrait photography.

Amy is always looking to broaden the depth of her artistic nature by working with new mediums, learning new techniques and using her skills to create or craft something. Her current artistic expression is through fluid acrylics. Her art focuses on design elements, especially her love of color and pattern, paired with inspiration from nature and music to create canvas paintings with an organic flow. Being practical, Amy also enjoys applying her art to functional pieces such as tables, jars, coasters, charcuterie boards, keepsake boxes, jewelry and guitar bodies and pick guards.

Amy’s work has been sold at local events such as Hippie Fest and Lily Fest. She is a visiting artist at Mud Gallery and a vendor at Keller Market House. She continues to seek opportunities to share her art and commissions are happily accepted.”

Laura Bee is a Lancaster, Ohio, based artist, designer, and owner of Honey Hill Designs. She has been a past featured artist at the Jack Pine Glass Pumpkin Festival, Lancaster Art Walk, Heart of Grove City Art & W**e Festival, Lithopolis Art & W**e Festival, My Favorite Things Mother's Day Event, Honey Hill Designs Studio Open Houses, along with being present in several local shops/store fronts. She is also an Etsy 6 year Star Seller. Laura is recognized for creating quality leather, freshwater pearl and semi-precious stone jewelry that encapsulates the raw beauty of nature's elements. Laura's love for creating started as a child while drawing, making crafts with her father, and through years of art classes. Self taught, Laura fell in love with designing jewelry and honed her skills once her children were grown, and after retiring from her nursing career. Her iconic bohemian jewelry incorporates genuine freshwater pearls, rolled leather, hand cut suede, sea glass, beach stones, shells, recycled goods, and semi-precious stones to create chic and timelessly elegant pieces. This versatile artist is a graduate of both the Ohio State University and The University of Dayton. A retired high school art teacher , Ed used his art skills to supplement his teaching salary by creating watercolor paintings. Retirement has not stopped Ed's creative endeavors with watercolor. His paintings are diverse in their appearance due to his curiosity about the potential of his medium. Ed is proud to say that he has a connection to this area through Adelphi, Ohio . His Grandmother, Tella Kitchen, was a noted American Folk Artist. Ed and his wife Mary Anne, have been part of this festival since the first show. He hopes to see you there.

🎃PINECONE STUDIO:🎃
Pinecone Studio is a husband and wife team who create unique and functional cedar birdhouses for songbirds in Ohio and surrounding states. Decorative elements include stained glass, pyrography, paint and repurposed items. Roofing materials feature copper, slate, metal and wood. We also create birdhouse related garden accessories including plant stakes and assorted feeders.

🎃BEACHNUT STUDIO:🎃
Colleen Tiefenthal of BeachNut Studio is a versatile mixed-media artist and painter whose work blends a distinct illustrative style with a passion for sustainability and the natural world. Originally an Ohio native, she now lives and creates in Maryland while making frequent visits back to the Buckeye State.
Working primarily in acrylics, she frequently depicts realistic animals and plants. Her mixed-media pieces incorporate found, organic, and upcycled elements such as driftwood, decorative papers, shells, and wire to build textured narratives that invite viewers into an enjoyable visual experience.

Welcome to SheSaid Glass! I’m Jessica Adkins, a local glass artist based in Hocking County.
​My journey with glass started with a love for lampworking—the art of using a torch to melt colored glass rods and hollow tubes into intricate shapes. After transforming a shed behind my home into my dream studio, it became the place where all my creative ideas come to life.
​Between working a full-time job and my daughter. I spend my nights at the torch, I focus on crafting detailed pieces that bring nature into glass form—especially my popular glass succulent or glass bouquets, plant accents, and wearable jewelry. Every item is individually handmade with focus, heat, and care.

🎃TREE LADY ART & APPAREL:🎃
Tree Lady Art & Apparel features silkscreen prints, tree t-shirts, handbags and hats by Michelle Ishida. Her silkscreens are made by drawing the design and making a screen of the image. The screens are made by exposing the image on a light table and then rinsing out the negative space. This allows for the ink to pass through only the rinsed out part of the screen onto the fabric or paper.

Why Trees? Michelle began drawing trees during a life drawing class while getting her Bachelor of Fine Arts at The Ohio State University. The students were using tree limbs to practice drawing the perspective of human limbs and she became captivated by the graceful lines and shapes of trees. Michelle has always been inspired by the beauty of nature and photographs trees whenever she is hiking or traveling. Each year she donates a portion of her profits to The National Arbor Day Foundation in support of their mission to plant more trees.

🎃SCRAP ART CRONE:🎃
As I live through the second half of my life I am learning the beauty of second chances, of the natural world, and simple pleasures. My creations embody these concepts by using salvaged materials, found objects, repurposed treasures, the reimagining of space, and representations of Earth, Water, Fire, and Sky through which Spirit channels.

I use things I find while wandering - stones, fossils, crystals, nests, seed pods, feathers, moss, sticks, driftwood, bones, and items I salvage, such as embroidery hoops, jewelry remnants, vintage chandelier crystals, scrap metal. Almost everything I create is one of a kind and contains beautiful imperfections, as we all do.

🎃PRETTY AS A PEACH:🎃
I’m Renee, a jewelry artist from Athens County, Ohio, creating handcrafted polymer clay pieces one detail, one petal, and one pair at a time.

My journey into jewelry making began during a deeply personal chapter of my life. After experiencing hair loss from COVID, I was searching for a way to feel feminine—and like me—again. As my hair began to grow back, I reached that awkward in-between stage: long enough that I no longer needed wigs, but not quite long enough to feel like myself yet.

So, I made myself a pair of earrings.

That small act of creativity and self-love sparked something much bigger. Jewelry making became a place for me to create, heal, and rediscover pieces of myself. What started with one pair has grown into a small business rooted in creativity, resilience, joy, and heart.

Today, every piece is handcrafted by me in Athens County, often inspired by flowers, nature, and color. Many of my floral designs are created one tiny petal at a time and take hours to make.

More than anything, I hope when someone wears something I’ve created, they feel beautiful, confident, and a little more themselves.

Because sometimes, something beautiful really can grow from the hardest chapters. 💗
