I made the Top 20 of The People's Artist competition, and I'm grateful. 🎨
More than two-thirds of the artists didn't advance after the last round, so this cut means a lot.
This competition supports The Art of Elysium, an incredible organization that uses art as a catalyst for social change. They build tailored creative programs for people walking through some of life's hardest moments illness, grief, recovery. Art as medicine. Art as a way back to yourself. We share that same mission at Raven's Retreat Hocking Hills, and we live this belief every single day. Our immersive retreat center is built on the conviction that art heals. That creativity transforms. That when people step into spaces where art and nature and intention collide, they reconnect with themselves in profound ways.
This competition amplifies that mission.
