When early settlers arrived in the area, everyday survival was a full-time job, and that included making their own clothes. Step into our Pioneer Life exhibit and get a firsthand look at the incredible craftsmanship of the 19th century.

From early ladies' fashions and intricate hand-stitching to vintage dolls and the rugged tools needed to carve out a life on the frontier, these artifacts tell the quiet, everyday stories of the people who built our region.

On Saturday, these people from Solingen, Germany came to the museum Their next stop was the Ronald Reagan Museum in Eureka, IL. We are so glad they chose the Buffalo Bill Museum as a stop on their 3 /1/2 week US Road Trip Where would you travel if you had 3/1/2 weeks to tour Germany?

The Museum thanks the LeClaire Lions Club and family of former Lion and Museum President Connie Curlott for the kind donation as a memorial to Connie…the $ will pay for tree or planting in her memory outside of the Museum! ❤️🪴

How many days of school do you think this class of 2nd graders from Hampton Elementary School have left this year? 3, they get out May 22. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER! Thanks to their teacher and the parents for joining us on our tour today! These kids are smiling too, because they were able to make their own pizzas at Happy Joes. How Fun!
