Join in for the 5th annual Jell-O Toddler Photo Contest!

Snap a photo of your toddler tasting Jell-O for the first time (or nearly first time) and write their name along with your contact information on the back of the photo (name, address, and phone number)

Submissions are due by July 15th, and please mail them to us at:

The photos will be displayed in the LeRoy Historical Society tent during LeRoy’s Oatka Festival – July 18th + 19th - for people to cast their votes! Voting ends on July 19th at 3 pm

The winner will be announced at the end of the festival. The winner will receive a gift basket loaded with goodies from the Jell-O Museum Gift Shop. The winner does not need to be present.

On June 26th, come learn about 19th-Century redware pottery! We are excited to co-sponsor an event with the Genesee Country Antique Dealers Association to bring this presentation to LeRoy!

Presenters Justin Thomas and Gene Pratt will discuss 19th-century redware pottery! Various examples from the LeRoy Historical Society pottery collection and other pieces will be on display to accompany the presentation!

The presentation will be at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center, on June 26th at 6:30pm!

On June 21st, come learn about the 1878 Ingham University art graduate, Heppie En Earl Wicks! This will be the second installment of our 2026 program series, "The Artists of Ingham University: Faculty and Students."

Wicks was a well-known artist in LeRoy until her death! Come learn about her art and her life following her time at Ingham University on June 21st at 2 pm inside the Historic LeRoy House, presented by LeRoy Historical Society board member, John Sherman

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council of the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by GO ART!
