At Hastings, family isn't just part of our history, it's part of our everyday life.

What started in 1959 with founder Earl McMullin has grown into a company that's now seeing a fourth generation help lead the way. Today, CEO Dave Baum works alongside his sons, Brian and Nick, continuing the values that have guided Hastings for more than 67 years.

Brian joined the team in 2019 and now helps shape the company's future as Vice President while Nick joined in 2025 to support production by ensuring the components needed to build Hastings products are always available.

When they're not at work, you'll find the Baum family enjoying golf, lake days, hunting, cooking, Lions football, and celebrating life's milestones with Brian attributing his biggest accomplishment to becoming a dad while Nick celebrated the beginning of a new chapter with his recent marriage.

While a lot has changed since 1959, our commitment remains focused on building reliable tools, supporting our community, and treating all Hastings team members like family.
