Fun fact: foxes make some of the best dads in the animal kingdom.

While mom stays with the kits, dad spends his days running meals back and forth to feed the whole family.
He’ll even bury extra food around the den so the little ones learn to sniff, search, and hunt on their own.

I’m excited to finally announce the winner of my 2‑year anniversary print giveaway... Congratulations to young art aficionado Keenan!

He not only won the drawing, he immediately chose the print his dad had been eyeing the most… and surprised him with it as an early Father’s Day gift. ❤️😭

Wild hummingbirds are notoriously tough to photograph, so when one finally pauses, I get a rare moment to breathe and line up an easy shot. This little guy perched for a few seconds, scanning the field like he was deciding who to squabble with next a rare break in the action.
