🌟It’s that time of year! Only 10 days left to Give to Lincoln and support Live Yes Studios this year!🌟
Live Yes Studios, Inc. (LYS) was created by artists, for artists, for the benefit of all and is the only art studio in Nebraska that specializes in fine and performing arts instruction and exhibition for disabled adults. Employing local artists, our instructors create an inclusive, professional studio environment to foster creative careers, promote professional development, and provide exhibition opportunities. During monthly art exhibitions, artists share their perspective with the greater community and are recognized by their creative accomplishments.
In our first fiscal year as a Nebraska nonprofit, LYS was able to purchase new vehicles, relocate and renovate our new studio space, and raise enough to cover startup costs because of the community’s support and generosity. Our goal for Give to Lincoln this year is to create savings and make investments for the future. We are grateful for the donations and unwavering support this community has shown us and would like to share recent accomplishments and goals for the future.
Future Goals
•Remain by artists, for artists, for the benefit of all.
•Increase our impact and support 60 artists per week.
•Increase wages to maintain a tenured, passionate team.
•Expand opportunities for art exhibition and offer new art classes.
•Create inclusive environments and support the normalization of disabilities.
•Increase community artist engagement through teaching, artist talks, and exhibition.
•Raise $50,000 to purchase a printmaking press, new kiln, large format printer, and more.
•Raise $100,000 in operational support to create a savings and build a long-lasting future.
•Grow our Board of Directors.
