is a sneak peek at the exhibit going on at the museum during the America 250th birthday. We have approximately 10 presidential signatures in our archives, so what better time to show them off. Our collections manager, Sandy Vasko, has mounted our canal era land grants and pointed arrows at the signatures done by both the President and his secretary. We have a few other non canal era presidential signatures on display, along with some Illinois governors.

We also have American flags from different eras hanging.

Come in and explore our great new exhibit.

A great friend of the Museum, Bill Molony, passed away on May 16th. Bill was our facilities manager for many years, and kept us running. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Thank you to everyone who participated and attended this year's A Walk Thru Time living history timeline event. Friday was a beautiful day to set up, and though Saturday morning started with a little bit of rain, it cleared up and turned into beautiful weather for the rest of the weekend. We welcomed back some old friends and met some great new ones. We are looking forward to seeing everyone next year on May 15-16.

is a reminder that this weekend is our A Walk Thru Time living history timeline event. Come out and visit with our great reenactors portraying time periods from the Roman Empire to World War II. Also, our 19th century buildings will be open for public viewing
