💙 Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing Play Street dads! 💙
Today, I want to give a special shout-out to my favorite Play Street dad - Brian.
When we took over Play Street Museum Lubbock last November, we knew it would be a family effort. What I didn’t fully appreciate at the time was just how much of himself Brian would pour into making this place the best it can be.
He’s the one who comes in early, stays late, fixes what breaks, builds what needs building, hangs shelves, moves furniture, shampoos carpets, and tackles all of the behind-the-scenes projects that most guests never see. If you’ve walked into Play Street in the last few months and thought, “Wow, it’s so clean!” or noticed a new improvement around the museum, chances are Brian had something to do with it.
But what I admire most isn’t just the hard work, it’s the heart behind it. He genuinely cares about creating a space where families can make memories together, and he works tirelessly to make sure every child who walks through our doors has a wonderful experience.
And when he isn’t taking care of Play Street, he’s taking care of us. Breklyn and Jaxon are incredibly blessed to have a dad who shows up every day with patience, love, and a willingness to do whatever needs to be done.
Brian, thank you for everything you do for our family and for Play Street Museum Lubbock. We couldn’t do this without you.
Help me wish Brian, and all the wonderful dads in our Play Street family, a very Happy Father’s Day! 💙
