Memory Monday: I almost forgot that my mom was a Warren County 4-H kid until I wondered across this certificate. Funny that I would have my mom's but my 4-H certificates are long gone
What isnt missing are the memories of growing up in the 4-H community. I didn't raise cows or pigs, but every time I measure dry ingredients for a baked good I think of Mrs Helen Voorhis and level them for accuracy. Memories of Bernie Stephenson are whisked into my meal prep of many of my standard comfort foods. When I pull out the sewing machine my memories of creating my first project (a drawstring bag) with Mrs Walker.
Do you have camp and fair memories to share? Will you be creating memories this week at the fair?
