This Sunday at Wine Down Sunday, we’ll be raising a glass to the women who shaped us first—our mothers.

The ones who taught us beauty before we had language for it.
Who showed us resilience in quiet ways.
Who sacrificed, encouraged, protected, inspired… and somehow still found ways to dream for us while carrying worlds of their own.

I’ll be toasting my beloved Dolly and sharing a few stories about the woman whose spirit continues to guide so much of what I build, love, and believe in.

And I would truly love to hear stories about your mothers, too.
The funny ones. The complicated ones. The beautiful memories that still live in your bones. The lessons you didn’t understand until much later.
Because art and storytelling have always shared the same heartbeat:
they remind us where we come from.

May 6, 2026 as DOLLY AND OZ PRESENTS DAY, recognizing our commitment to enriching the cultural life of the community, uplifting diverse voices, and contributing to Miami Beach as a center for creativity and cultural dialogue.

As we mark our third year, the recognition feels especially meaningful.
What began as a vision has evolved into a creative community shaped by exhibitions, conversation, and shared curiosity.

This recognition is not mine alone. It belongs to the artists who trust us with their work, the collectors who champion it, and the community that continues to walk through our doors—curious, open-hearted, and willing to engage with art and one another in meaningful ways.

Thank you to Commissioner Tanya K. Bhatt, Mayor Steven Meiner, and the City of Miami Beach for this extraordinary honor.

May 6th is officially Dolly and Oz Presents Day in Miami Beach — and my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

Thank you to Commissioner Tanya K. Bhatt and Mayor Steven Meiner for this incredible honor and for recognizing the power of art, storytelling, creativity, and community in our city.

To our amazing friends and supporters who have shown up for us from day one — thank you for believing in the vision, the magic, and the mission.

To the artists who trust us with your work, your vulnerability, and your brilliance… thank you for making the gallery a living, breathing creative force.

To the collectors, collaborators, and every member of this growing community — thank you for proving that art still brings people together in meaningful ways.

What started as a dream has become a movement rooted in connection, courage, beauty, and possibility.

A very special thank you to Clotilde, Anika, Nic — our youngest poet and artist—- and Lyall, for standing alongside me today, for supporting the vision, and bearing witness to this beautiful journey as it unfolds.
