Closing March 6, the exhibition by Alexandre Frangioni invites us to reflect on what remains when we are no longer here. Through symbols such as flags, games of chance, and safes, the works question memory, legacy, and the contradictions between the values we proclaim and the lives we lead.

In the end, the artist reminds us that what truly remains are the marks of our actions.

A selection of works by Alexandre Frangioni examining globalization, symbolic representation, and the role of material language as a conceptual framework within contemporary societies.

Work in Video: Flag of Brazil I, 2020 21.6 x 31 x 2 in ( 55 Ă— 80 Ă— 5 cm ) Angelim wood, automotive paint, acrylic disc, arrow, vinyl adhesive, and metal tubes.

With this artwork, the artist structures a roulette wheel; the work replaces numerical outcomes with themes historically and culturally associated with Brazil. By reconfiguring the national emblem as an apparatus of chance, Frangioni constructs a critical and conceptual space in which the contradictions and evolving narratives of Brazilian identity are tangible.

“Levarei saudades da Aurora - I will carry nostalgia for Aurora“ is open to the public, showcasing innovative and conceptual art by Alexander Frangioni, whose work examines memory and power through material transformation, using familiar objects to question systems of value and historical legitimacy.
