SAC's Gallery is known for having quality artwork and fine crafts suitable for any budget. Art classes are available through our Art Awareness and Education programs.

Ok, you missed the reception for our featured artist event. Even if you did miss the great food and wonderful company, please don’t miss this show! The artwork is by Lorna Aho, Kim Brandhuber, Christine Freeman, Ladonna Idell, Surender Saini, Deb Tomblin, and Peggy Raines. These are all participants in Peggy’s open studio classes.

B26: Wiregrass Biennial Submissions Are Still Open!

This is a juried exhibition for artists living and working in the South, ages 18 and up. Eligible states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Exhibition dates:
July 18- September 19, 2026

We are looking for work created within the last three years. Original work only.
What stands out:
• Bold ideas.
• Strong voices.
• Diverse media.
• Large scale work.
• Installations.
• New media.
• Performance based work tied to the opening.

This exhibition values artists who take risks and push form, material, and message. If your work challenges, questions, or expands how art is experienced, this call is for you.

THERE IS NO SUBMISSION FEE

This exhibition is supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
