The end of a show is always bittersweet. We've loved the thoughtful, multisensory install by . She shared a process demo with us this past Friday before her emotional artist talk. The show will be up for one more week before it comes down so if you haven't made it in yet or there's one piece that you had your eye on that you would love to have in your own home to remember, please stop by or send a message to schedule an appointment!

Next week we welcome the incredibly talented as she begins to hang her art and prepares for her opening!

We won't be open today! With all this rain there was a water line emergency on the construction being done. The Village of Morton crews are out working hard to get it fixed but for now we are unable to access the space. See you hopefully tomorrow!

Remember when we said the photography studio was available?? Well not anymore! We are over the moon to welcome Aniya Cummings to the MUSE Gallery and Studios! She is wildly talented and just the sweetest!

Aniya Cummings is a passionate creative based in Illinois, specializing in photography and makeup artistry. She focuses on creating editorial-style experiences that bring each client’s vision to life. She loves blending creativity with detail to create looks that feel bold, confident, and unique. Whether it’s a birthday session or a custom concept, her goal is to make every client feel seen, empowered, and unforgettable.

For her, it’s more than just photos. It’s a reflection of her lifestyle and values. It’s about creating an experience that reflects who you are and how you want to be remembered.

"Moments you can feel, and confidence you carry with you long after the camera is gone."

MUSE is so thrilled to welcome Kelly Sharp, Therapist! She has made her office space is so welcoming and cozy!

Kelly tells us she is so grateful to have found Muse Morton because it embodies the creativity, connection, and sense of community support she values both personally and professionally.

She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Owner of Kelly Sharp Counseling PLLC where she provides individual therapy for adults. She enjoys supporting individuals who are on a path towards personal growth, healing, and fulfillment. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who is EMDR trained and works with clients to process past experiences and build resilience. Her approach is grounded in empathy, safety, and respect. She is honored to help her clients create meaningful and lasting change at their own pace.

When Kelly is not at Muse she is likely to be finding her next adventure. She loves traveling (near and far), exploring local trails (hiking or just spending time in nature), photography, reading, and trying new recipes.

We are so excited to welcome the One and Only Duffy Armstrong Farrell as a Resident Artist of MUSE!

Duffy is a wildly talented artist in a range of mediums but most recently works with abstract photography, using bad images, big mistakes and unsightly things to turn them into something that is fun, colorful or metaphorical. Seeing without judgement and exploring from multiple perspectives is not just found in her art making. It is how she believes we can understand the world around us and the people in it.

Her most recent work, "Through the Lens – Color, Substance, Essence" is about empathy and feeling something when there is little to work from. It brings the eye to focus on what is there as well as what could be there through positive thinking.

Duffy studied photography, drawing and printmaking at Bradley University. She holds a BFA and has worked professionally as a curator, art educator and studio artist in addition to being a statewide advocate for the arts and other artists.

How lucky are we to have her here! Please give Duffy a warm welcome! You can check out more of her work at duffyarmstrong.com
