WHAT IF A FIELD TRIP COULD BE MORE THAN JUST A FIELD TRIP?

For hundreds of school-aged children, a visit to Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is a chance to learn by doing.

It’s the child who gets to experiment, build, problem-solve and discover something new. It’s the student who may learn best with their hands instead of a worksheet. It’s the class that gets to explore together, ask questions, work as a team and simply experience the joy of learning.

That’s the impact of having a children’s museum in our community. ❤️

Your donations help us keep creating these opportunities for local students and schools , and during October’s Matching Month, United Way will match every dollar donated!

We’re working toward $10,000 in donations, which means we can unlock $20,000 for the museum.

Help us keep the doors open, the exhibits growing and the learning happening.

Give today. Your gift can help twice as much.

We’re about halfway there friends! We’re working toward $10,000 in community donations, and United Way is matching every dollar — giving us the chance to turn $10,000 into $20,000! 🎉

That means your donation has DOUBLE the impact this month.

If the museum has brought a little joy, curiosity, creativity or chaos 😉 to your family, this is the perfect time to give back.

Thank you for your support so far! We've got just 3 weeks to reach our goal of $10,000!

10/11/2026

Starting October 1st, every dollar donated to Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum will be matched by United Way! That means your $10 becomes $20, your $50 becomes $100, and your $500 becomes $1,000 for the museum!

Our goal is to raise $10,000, which means we have the incredible opportunity to turn that into $20,000 to help our museum continue creating spaces where kids can learn, discover, create & grow.

We're SO close. Now we need our community to help us cross that finish line. 🥹

Donate. Share. Tell a friend. Rally your people.
Let's make October BIG. Let's double the good. Let's do this!
