http://www.quylekilns.com History of the Kilns:

The Quyle Family has been producing fine pottery and clay bodies since 1941.

Paul and Joyce Quyle started making their own clay formulas because there were no clays available for their own use. As interest in their specialized clays grew, Paul and Joyce decided to expand their clay production and pottery business. In 1954 they moved to Murphys and opened Quyle Kilns on the 100 acre family ranch. From that time on Quyle Kilns has been a family business. Now owned and operat

ed by daughter, Pamela Quyle. For over 65 years we continue to produce quality clay bodies and fine handmade, high-fired ceramics.
