You do not need to be an expert to write a letter of support.

Actually, we need something much simpler.
We need you to tell the truth about what you want for this community.

For example:
“I have two kids, and we would use this.”
“I want more reasons to bring my grandchildren downtown.”
“Our students need more hands-on science opportunities.”
“This would help bring families into my downtown business.”
“I want New Port Richey to invest in places where kids can discover what they’re capable of.”

That’s a letter of support. Your experience is the qualification.

Couldn’t make our daytime Q&A yesterday afternoon? Come see us next Wednesday evening.

Our second Ask Us Anything session is September 9, and we want this one to be exactly what the name says: an opportunity for our community to talk directly with the Brainstorms team.

Ask about the building. Ask about the funding. Ask about the programs. Ask what happens next. Tell us what excites you, what concerns you, and what you think this project could mean for New Port Richey.

A community project should have a community behind it.
We’re asking local nonprofits, civic organizations, schools, neighborhood groups, tourism partners, colleges, community leaders and regional organizations to consider submitting a letter of support for Brainstorms Science Discovery Center at Main & Bank.
Your letter can speak to the part of this project that connects most closely to your work: education, families, workforce development, tourism, environmental learning, downtown redevelopment, community life or opportunities for young people.
We want the record to show something clearly:
This isn’t one organization asking for a building. It’s a community asking what this building could become.
