We’ll have live music from Flowers of Edinburgh, traditional Highland dancing by Okie Skye Highland Dance, and the stirring sound of bagpipes from Coleman Patterson.

Just a reminder that the museum will be open 11-1 only this Friday, and we will be closed Saturday for Easter weekend.

All guided tours are canceled for the rest of this week. The museum will be open for self-guided tours only to allow staff to focus on our Spring Break History Camps.

A Message from our Museum Manager, Amy Pence:

When I stepped into this role seven and a half years ago, I couldn't have been more excited for the new adventure. I knew that this house was special and contained fascinating treasures and stories, but I never anticipated that the real treasure would be all of the connections I made with all of you. This community is truly wonderful, and I have been honored to serve all of you.

It is now time for me to start a new adventure. My last day as museum manager will be this Saturday, March 21. I am so grateful to all of the museum's visitors, volunteers, and board members for your support.

I fully intend to continue visiting the museum and attending events, so hopefully I'll still see you around! Please continue supporting this local gem of a museum, and continue to expect great things from the Moore-Lindsay House!
