Today's footage features a clip from a Science, Space, and Technology Committee hearing with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The amazing innovation happening in today is built on a legacy of local ingenuity. Want to explore the nearby roots of global (and interstellar!) technology? Our exhibit, "Chenango County in Fifty Stories," features a historic General Laboratory Associates (GLA) artifact. As a precursor of GE Unison, GLA played a vital role in aerospace development.

In collaboration with the Chenango County Historian's Office, we unveiled the first heritage sign installed in the City of Norwich, New York since 1976 as part of . Made possible by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, this marker honors a c. 1914 Colonial Revival building which was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 2009. Originally a residence for the R.D. Eaton family, the structure has served as the Jewish Center of Norwich, NY since 1955.
