October 21, 2026, at 5:20pm: The full, “Hunter’s Moon” illuminates the way for exploration of unexplained “hot spot” activity and spirited first hand accounts. This walking tour is filled with history, mystery, and paranormal intrigue at the Magnolia Art Xchange (MAX). Guided by seasoned experts in both local history and ghost hunting, this experience takes you through some of Ocala's most historically significant and eerie locations.

Starting at the historic MAX building, formerly an old train station, participants will learn to operate ghost-hunting equipment, including methods like the Estes Technique, to search for potential signs of the supernatural. Our first stop will be the Muddy Lotus Kava and Tea bar directly across the street from the MAX. There, we will taste their spooky tinctures and potions, and guests are encouraged to grab an enjoyable to-go beverage to get as relaxed as possible as we head out for our history and paranormal hunt with, Diane Cahal, local artist and ghost hunter.

The journey proceeds to the Evergreen Cemetery, one of Ocala's oldest public burial grounds, Once inside the cemetery gates, we will pay respects to the city’s notable figures and hear their remarkable stories. The tour concludes back at MAX, where we explore the galleries, meet resident artists, and hear their personal accounts of unexplained phenomena. *Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes suitable for uneven terrain. *Refillable water stations are available for your convenience. *Proceeds from this tour benefit the Magnolia Art Xchange, MAX merchandise and artwork will be available for purchase

Gather: A Night We'll Keep. ✨🕯️

Some nights you attend. Others, you carry.

Saturday was one of the latter.

The candles flickered low. The w**e poured slow. The hors d'oeuvres disappeared faster than anyone expected. And somewhere between the dim light and the easy laughter, something quietly beautiful happened—people came together.

Not just artists. Not just collectors. Not just friends. A community.

We gathered around the walls, around the work, around each other. Smiles passing between strangers who left as something closer. Voices softening as the evening deepened. That particular feeling that only exists when a room full of creative people decides to be present with one another.

It was classy without trying. Warm without effort. Full in every sense of the word.

To everyone who showed up—thank you. Thank you for the conversations that lingered. For the hugs that lasted a beat longer than expected. For the artists who trusted us with their work. For the curator who shaped it all. For the hands that helped set the candles, pour the w**e, and hold the space.

You didn't just attend an exhibition. You became part of it.

GATHER may be behind us now, but the feeling isn't going anywhere. We'll be holding onto this one for a long, long time.
