WLOX Interview with Vicki Reynolds about this weekend’s OS Spring Art Festival.

COAST LIFE 🎨 | "To me, art is Ocean Springs," said Vicki Reynolds, an artist.

Like her city, art is what identifies Reynolds.

"It relaxes me. It's something I enjoy doing, and I can express myself and I can go in there and make something that nobody else is making."

Reynolds' painting of animals and other vivid scenes will be displayed in one of the 250 booths set up during the 33rd annual Spring Arts Festival.

Friday, January 30th to Sunday, February 1st
9:00AM-4:00PM

No experience necessary! Join Beth Ann MacDonald for a three day workshop on how to use soft pastel to create basic landscapes. We will review materials, storage and framing. We will learn how under-painting and mark-making affects the mood and look of pastel painting. Learn how to render 4 main areas of landscapes in pastels: skies, trees, grasses, vegetation and water. We will then learn how to combine those techniques into effective landscapes. A supply list will be provided and some supplies would be available for an additional kit fee. Light lunch included.
