Discover the magic of Florida’s forgotten landscapes and hidden stories as Floridian artist and author Bess Auer brings Unpaved Parts: Ghosts of Old Florida to Mills Gallery in the Lump Gallery!

The Opening will coincide with the launch of her second novel in her HoundsHouse Orlando series, “When Magic Goes Missing!”

Inspired by the Florida of her childhood, Bess Auer’s oil paintings celebrate the natural beauty of a state transformed by decades of development. Working in the tradition of the legendary Florida Highwaymen, she captures the haunting feeling of a Florida that still exists just beyond the pavement.

Each HoundsHouse book also features a real-life treasure hunt, encouraging readers to get out and explore the actual locations, independent businesses, and historic landmarks woven into the story.

The grand prize for this book’s hunt is one of Auer’s original oil paintings, which will be on display during the Mills Gallery exhibition!

The Opening Reception is on November 18th, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful Artists Talk with our five WINN-WIN 2926 artists! We enjoyed an evening of art, conversation, and fine art raffles featuring gifts from the artists and a special gift from Sam Flax Orlando .

Our hope is to see more and more people supporting fine art here in Orlando and the events that bring our community together.

Mills Gallery is having an open call for JINGLE MILLS, a Holiday Art Market Popup!

Mills Gallery is looking for local Orlando vendors to join Jingle Mills, our festive Holiday Art Market! This is your opportunity to showcase and sell your original artwork, handmade goods, and unique holiday gifts to shoppers looking to support local creativity this merry season.

From paintings and prints to jewelry, ceramics, accessories, and one-of-a-kind handmade treasures, we want to see what you create! All items must be priced at $200 or less, making your work accessible to holiday shoppers searching for something truly special.

Vendor Details & Requirements:

Application Fee: $35 per artist.

Keep 100% of Your Sales! Every vendor keeps all proceeds from their sales.

No Sales, No Fee! If you make no sales during the market, your $35 application fee will be refunded.

Bring Your Own Table: Vendors must provide their own table, with a maximum length of 6 feet.

Price Limit: All items must be priced at $200 or less.
Prohibited Sales: Food, medicine, supplements, and political merchandise are strictly prohibited.

Setup: You can begin setup as early as 10 am. Please be fully set up by 12 pm when the Market opens.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us, and a special thank you to Gail Winn, Sam Flax, The Gallery at Mills Park, Bang & Olufsen Winter Park, Creación de Contenidos, Linda Hobby, and Nosotras Latinas and Carol Kit Healthy for supporting the exhibition.

Today is the day. WINN-WIN opens tonight.

A very special thank you to Gail Winn and to the loving memory of Michael Winn.

Michael was a great Winter Park philanthropist who truly believed in the arts and in creating opportunities for others. He believed in WINN-WIN from the beginning.

Gail, thank you for continuing that support, for believing in this project, and for helping us keep that spirit alive. It means a lot to all of us.
