Spend the evening learning the art of clay mug making with ceramic artist Julie Latayan. Each guest will handcraft and underglaze their own one-of-a-kind mug, creating a functional piece of art that reflects their personal style.

No experience needed — this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. After the event, your mug will be professionally fired twice and returned to Art Spotlight in approximately 3–4 weeks, ready to enjoy for years to come.

A Contemporary Reimagining: Art Spotlight Gallery invites artists to submit work for our upcoming exhibition: “Not Your Average Mona.” This show challenges artists to create a direct, intentional connection to the Mona Lisa — while boldly stepping beyond imitation. We are not looking for copies. We are looking for interpretation. What happens when the most famous woman in art history meets your voice, your medium, your story? Is she modern? Abstract? Fragmented? Reconstructed? Is she joyful? Fierce? Mysterious? Defiant? Does she exist in your world — or does your world exist in hers?
