On Friday, May 29th at around 9:35 pm, our Archives building on Baldwin Avenue was vandalized by someone throwing rocks at our entryway door. The alarm went off and OPD responded quickly but the rock thrower had fled. The glass will need to be replaced and it is not going to be cheap. The rock thrower either wasn't aware of the security camera or didn't care.

UPDATE: OPD has informed us that the person responsible for damaging our building has come forward and acknowledged responsibility for his actions. Thanks to everyone who shared the post and contacted us with information. Many thanks also to OPD for their work on this and to Mission Protection Systems for providing us with the tools we needed to get this situation resolved.

Big Boy won’t be stopping but it will pass through Oroville again on Sunday.

Evidently, because of the snow and weather conditions, Big Boy 4014 will leave Roseville tomorrow morning at 8:00am and retrace its route through Lincoln, Marysville, and through the Feather River Canyon. It won’t stop, but coming through!!
Check out Mary Dillingham today. She even got to step inside!
