So you may have heard that Pacifica was ranked the worst city in the country to have a small business. I have been here six years, and it is all due to the support of this wonderful community. We are small but mighty.
I am joining my fellow merchants in turning lemons into lemonade. Over 28 businesses in Pacifica are coming together to flip that narrative — and every one of us is creating something special to be a part of it.
My contribution? A set of three Pacifica themed postcards based on my watercolor paintings and designs, plus two lemons to lemonade stickers.
It's $13.34. And that number is very intentional.

Happy Mother’s Day! To all the beautiful mothers, the core of our society. The nurturers, teachers, providers and so much more.

My mother’s house has always been the most beautiful place, she made a home of any space, with love. My childhood home in Chile was my castle beautiful spaces full of family, parties, and quiet evenings of Onces (Chilean tea time) just the two of us.

If you’re Latino you know, “sana, sana, potito de rana”. This made all childhood booboos heal. I still walk into my Mother’s house feeling her embrace will heal all my wounds.

If we are lucky we get to return the love. Sana, sana mami it’s my turn now.

Check me out! I was featured in Coastside Magazine’s CELEBRATING WOMEN issue. Art and Community. Thank you Mary for the piece. Funny how life works, I was featured in the first Coastside Magazine 6 years ago. May issue of 2020. I didn’t have the gallery yet, the piece was about my watercolor pieces. I didn’t know the turns life would bring, and this beautiful space would become such a little art hub in the community. Thank you all for being part of this journey. Teaching a Watercolor Series at coastal libraries the next couple of months. Such an exciting and rewarding opportunity. There’s so many wonderful programs and resources, truly something for everyone. I encourage you to visit your local library.
