Frascione Gallery

Frascione Gallery A leading international gallery showcasing Old Masters to Contemporary Art in Palm Beach & Florence.

02/01/2026

Art is not confined to its time.

Since 1893, Frascione Gallery has engaged with art history as a living discipline. Every work is studied, catalogued, and placed within a broader historical and cultural context.

Working between Florence and Miami, we collaborate with museums, collectors, and international institutions to present works from the 14th century through the contemporary, placing Old Masters in dialogue with modern practice through exhibitions and scholarly publications worldwide.

Our work is rooted in stewardship — preserving, interpreting, and sharing the past so it may continue to speak in the present.

Time Reveals the Truth
Pietro de Angelis (1769–ca.1825)

Trained in Rome under Anton Raphael Mengs, Pietro de Angelis carried Neoclassical ideals across Europe—from Venice to St. Petersburg, Vilnius, and Munich. Known for his allegorical drawings, his work often blends beauty and symbolism.

In Time Reveals the Truth, an allegorical winged figure of Time holds the hourglass and scythe, while unveiling Truth, radiant in the light of the sun. A reminder that, no matter how much appearances may deceive, truth always emerges with time.

📍 This piece will be at FAB Paris from September 20–24 at the Grand Palais, Paris. Visit us at Stand 9 to experience it in person.

The series of works originates from Rubén's relationship with his domestic environment, mediated by sounds. It is noticed that the sense of place and intimacy has always been accompanied by a discreet and continuous sound that usually goes unnoticed. Curiously, it becomes present as it ceases. When it is absent, it creates an almost unpleasant vacuum; when it returns, it irradiates a soothing quality in the room. That sustained sound becomes also a place of its own.

RUBEN D’HERS - I STILL HEAR THE SOFT ROAR OF A DISTANT CROWD

Working at the intersection of sound installation, music, and painting, Rubén D’Hers explores the concept of listening as a blurred domain where sounds acoustically generated overlap with our musical and auditory memory.
