The Blennerhassett Mansion ✨

The original Blennerhassett Mansion began construction in 1798 and was one of the largest and grandest in the American West at the time of its completion. This European-style Palladian mansion became the headquarters for Aaron Burr's military expedition in 1805, and several years later, was accidentally burned to the ground in 1811.

⭐‼PARKING AND NAVIGATION INFO FOR 2026‼⭐

Current construction on the Rt 50 exit and entrance ramps off of Ann and Juliana streets have led to a section of Second Street and multiple parking lots being closed this summer. If you're planning to visit Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park, make sure to plan accordingly.

📍Our Center has two parking lots island visitors are more than welcome to park in, the back parking lot also has dedicated bus and RV parking. We are located at 113 Ann Street right next to the entrance to Point Park. Our back parking lot is located on the corner of Ann and First streets.

📍Point Park itself has parking through the floodwall, but there is a three hour limit. If you're looking to spend your whole day at Blennerhassett Island, we recommend parking in one of our parking lots.

📍There is also limited street parking on Juliana Street for museum visitors.

📍While there are multiple ways to get to Point Park, please keep in mind that Ann Street is a one-way street, the only way to exit is currently through First Street.
