I was the kid who took great pride in always coloring in the lines of the coloring book. I had and have a great imagination, but my early years were spent making sure I followed the "rules." Now that I'm retired, I am learning that we generally have a great deal of leeway in those rules. My motto is a mash up of several: Do no harm; leave the world better than you found it; and don't violate your

own code of ethics. Retirement has allowed me the luxury of time to pursue painting and pen and ink. I have many, many workshop teachers to thank for the start I got in art, and I'd like to think I am making my own unique mark on the world with the way I view and represent it. This site will be used to explore my art journey and share my creations.
