This Memorial Day, more than 200 visitors gathered at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Visitors reflected on sacrifice and remembrance while viewing personal mementos left at America’s Wall over the years, including photos, notes, flags, flowers, and patches. Each tribute tells a story and reminds us that our heroes and their families are Never Forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who visited and continues helping preserve these stories for future generations.

Over the years, visitors have left these heartfelt mementos and memorabilia in honor of those they came to remember. This Memorial Day weekend, many of these items are once again on display in our Welcome Center as part of our Memorial Day Display.

We invite you to visit this Memorial Day weekend to reflect, remember, and experience our Memorial Day Display.

Last year, a group participating in Run for the Wall visited Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial during their return trip home from Washington, D.C.

Before leaving, they placed personal tributes at America’s Wall in honor of those they came to remember.

Like all mementos and memorabilia left at the Wall over the years, these items have been carefully preserved by our staff and are now part of our Memorial Day Display in the Welcome Center.

Every item tells a story. Every tribute carries a memory.

Thanks to the generosity of 50 supporters, nearly $4,000 has already been raised to help keep the flags flying above America’s Wall at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial.

Our goal is $7,500 by May 15, and we are getting close.

When you sponsor a flag In Memory or In Honor of a loved one by May 15, their name will be included on a tribute poster displayed in our Welcome Center during Memorial Day weekend.
