Let's explore the Grand Home!
There were originally seven bathrooms in the Marland home of which only two are now on display.
This bath contains a shower stall along with a soaking tub. The spigot at the bottom of the shower stall was used to test the temperature of the water before entering the shower. In the shower are original hand-embroidered, monogrammed hand towels used by the Marland family.
This bath is one of two original baths in the home with the original fixtures and flooring exposed.

The Butlers Pantry-The cabinets are original to the Marlands. The stainless steel Monel countertop is also original. Marland had to receive special permission from the US government to utilize this material in his new home. The Marlands had a stainless steel sink and Westinghouse Dishwasher installed in this area which were quite advanced for the time.

If you are interested in 101 Ranch history then you will want to visit.
The original recreation room now displays exhibits representing the early 1900's 101 Ranch which was located seven miles southwest of Ponca City. The ranch was founded by George W. Miller and later passed on to his sons, Joe C., George, and Zack after his death in 1903. Under their guidance it became a self sufficient community, the largest diversified ranch in the world with all kinds of amenities and buildings.

"The 101 Ranch was known for more than roping, riding, and putting on a show! Multiple famous movie stars in the early 1900s got their start or starred in a feature film right here in Ponca City!

After getting their feet wet, the Miller brothers established the Bison Film Company in 1909 and went on to produce well over 100 feature films. Although the company was disestablished in 1917, you may have seen a 101 film on TV without even knowing it!"

Let's explore the Grand Home!
The southwest and southeast corners of the second floor were originally screened-in porches that adjoined two small bedrooms. The windows could be opened fully to allow a breeze through the house.
This room now displays a variety of artifacts which were donated by the City of Ponca City by Fred Bartram, one of Marland Oil;s first accountant/bookkeepers. The majority of the items are from tribes located in the northersestern and southwestern parts of the United States. These artifacts include baskets, pottery, ceremonial items, tools and dolls.

A little piece of history on the table ✨

This stunning china set was originally created for the Marland family, featuring a delicate hand-painted depiction of their Grand Avenue home as it stood in 1916. Crafted in Japan, each piece reflects the artistry and attention to detail that made fine porcelain so treasured in its time.

More than just dishes, this set tells a story—of elegance, legacy, and life in early Ponca City. It’s amazing to think these pieces once graced the table of one of the area’s most influential families.

The basement area of the Grand Home now houses exhibits representing the 101 Ranch and Wild West Show of the early 1900s. These exhibits include artifacts used on the ranch and in the Wild West Show by the performers and cowboys. 101 Ranch exhibits are included at Marland Grand Home because E.W. Marland drilled on their property and had a friendly relationship with the Miller brothers.
