LaughinGnome Pottery Taste the difference for yourself! We are a small pottery located in Port Townsend, WA. Because we don't glaze our pottery, we get the process of nucleation.

We specialize in crafting unglazed eating, drinking, and baking wares, hand-thrown and sculpted using no molds. For more information about nucleation, see our website. Our small crew takes the time to imbue each piece with artistic intention, drawing inspiration from the many natural elements that are part of our daily lives, making each piece truly memorable. We call our pottery “naked” because y

ou see and feel only the natural clay, and yet through our firing process the clay seals itself, requiring no glaze. We hand-burnish each piece for a smooth, unblemished finish. And, each item is safe in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and even the freezer.
