Our Annual Graduating Art Students’ Exhibition is on view for another week! We are open today until 8 pm and will be open tomorrow, SATURDAY, MAY 16, with special Commencement hours from 12-4 PM. Seniors can stop by with their families to take pictures in their caps and gowns, and anyone else can visit to see the wonderful artwork by our talented students.

You can hop on the 6:30 PM tour from the to visit Bannister Gallery and see a special traditional Cambodian dance performance by Norin Samraing (.20 ), a graduating senior from RIC and a long-time Bannister Gallery student employee. The performance will take place around 7:15 PM if you would like to stop by on your own and see the event!

Bannister Gallery is open this week with our 2026 Graduating Art Students’ Exhibition! Stop by to see the show and celebrate the work of our talented student artists.

The building will have limited access with additional screening due to Commencement-related events tonight (5/12) and tomorrow (5/13) starting at 5:00 PM both evenings. Please use the front entrance only and bring ID if you are coming to visit the gallery these two evenings.

Bannister Gallery will also have special Commencement Day hours this Saturday, May 16, from 12:00-4:00 PM. We welcome any and all visitors who want to see the exhibition during these open hours!

Thanks for celebrating the graduates from the Art Department last night! Congratulations to Bin Glodek (.art ), this year’s Senior Award winner in Studio Art, and Erin Lopes ( ), recipient of the Harriet Brisson Award in Ceramics.

2026 Graduating Art Students’ Exhibition

Opening Reception - Thursday, May 7, 4-7 PM in the gallery

Opening in just ONE week is our Annual Graduating Art Students’ Exhibition! The exhibition includes work by graduating seniors in the Rhode Island College Art Department. Various studio concentrations represented include ceramics, metalsmithing, painting, printmaking, digital media, graphic design, photography, and sculpture. The exhibition also celebrates Bin Glodek, this year’s Graduating Senior Award winner in Studio Art, and Erin Lopes, the recipient of the Harriet Brisson Award in Ceramics.
