Folded Frog
Wrap up Fantastic Frogs with one last leap into creativity during STEAM Saturdays at the San Bernardino County Museum. This Saturday, children can make a Folded Frog craft while learning about amphibians and exploring STEAM concepts through hands-on play and discovery.

STEAM Saturdays are designed especially for young learners and offer simple, engaging activities that encourage curiosity about the natural world in a welcoming museum environment.

🐸 Activities are included with general admission
🐸 Timed entry and wristbands are required for STEAM Lab participation

Dome Talks are back! During this evening speaker series held in our iconic dome, authors, and scientists from across the region share their work, research, and ideas in an informal, engaging setting.

Topics span science, history, and the world around us, offering fresh ways to think about big questions, from our place in the universe to the forces shaping life on Earth.

Join us on June 11, 2026 for an evening with award winning author Riley Black and July 16, 2026 for author, journalist for the L.A. Times, and documentary filmmaker Rosanna Xia.

Frog Life Cycle

Discover how frogs grow and change during Fantastic Frogs at the San Bernardino County Museum. This week’s STEAM Saturdays activity explores the Frog Life Cycle through a fun, hands-on craft designed especially for younger learners and their families.

Children can learn about tadpoles, transformation, and amphibian adaptations while exploring science through creativity and guided discovery in the STEAM Lab.

Join us at the San Bernardino County Museum for a guided Mahjong experience led by Brenna Gibbs, held in connection with our Chinese Pioneers exhibition. In this two-hour session, you’ll learn the modern American style of Mahjong while exploring the game’s cultural roots and its role in building community in the American West.

Whether you’re brand new or just need a refresher, this beginner-friendly class will walk you through everything—from tiles and suits to building your first winning hand.
