Join the San Bernardino County Museum at the Agua Mansa Pioneer Cemetery for an Old Spanish Trail Day speaking engagement on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Nancy Melendez, a descendant and president of the Spanish Town Heritage Foundation, will speak about the history of the Old Spanish Trail and its local historical connections. Following the presentation, visitors will have an opportunity to explore the site at their own pace.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Let’s get prehistoric at the Victor Valley Museum! 🦴🦅🦎
Join us for Beasts & Bones this Saturday, September 26, from 11 AM–3 PM, where paleontology meets biology!
Get up close with live reptiles and raptors, prehistoric fossils, educational community partners, and arts and crafts while discovering connections between ancient life and the animals and environments around us today.
Beasts & Bones is fun for the whole family and is included with regular museum admission. Museum members are free!

Let’s get prehistoric! Join us for our conservation focused event Beasts and Bones, Saturday September 19 from 11AM to 4PM, where paleontology meets biology.

Enjoy live animal experiences and real fossils up close! Visitors will learn about reptiles and local fossils and witness live raptor flight demos, alongside educational community partner tables.

Beasts and Bones is fun for the whole family, young and old! Food and snack vendors will be available on site for purchase.

Admission to this event is included with regular museum admission. Members are free.

Join us Thursday, September 10, for The Unknown Universe with physicist Daniel Whiteson.

From the mysteries of the tiniest particles to the size and origin of the cosmos—and whether aliens might be out there asking the same questions—Whiteson will take us on a journey to the edge of what we know about the universe.

🔭 Daniel Whiteson is a physics professor at UC Irvine and a researcher at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. He is also co-host of Daniel and Kelly’s Extraordinary Universe and co-author of Do Aliens Speak Physics? and We Have No Idea.

Join us Thursday, September 10 for a journey to the edge of our knowledge with physicist Daniel Whiteson. From the mysteries of the tiniest particles to the size and origin of the entire cosmos—and whether there are aliens out there asking the same questions and finding the same answers—this Dome Talk explores some of the biggest mysteries in modern physics.

Whiteson is a physics professor at UC Irvine and a researcher at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. He is co-host of the podcast Daniel and Kelly’s Extraordinary Universe and co-author of Do Aliens Speak Physics? and We Have No Idea.
