Make-believe in the pumpkin house, climb to the tip-top of the tree house and sail on the magic ship. Enjoy memory-making family experiences and engage your young child in creative, developmental play. Main Street Childrenโ€™s Museum is inspired by the artwork of American illustrator Vernon Grant, who lived and worked in Rock Hill.

Check out the video to see which artists and artwork your little artist will be able to try from water colors, splatter painting, finger and glitter painting, to flower stamps!

Did you know Museum of York County, along with Historic Brattonsville, and Main Street Children's Museum are a part of Museums for All, an initiative of Institute of Museum and Library Services?

The program allows for reduced admission rates for individuals receiving SNAP or EBT benefits, even for special events like Invasion of the Bloodsuckers Family Day on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.! ๐ŸฆŸ

Those wishing to take advantage of the program are eligible for reduced, walkup admission by showing their EBT/SNAP card at check-in. The reduced rate is valid for up to four individuals per party/card shown. Our reduced rate is $๐Ÿฏ ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป!

The Blue Star Museums program is back for summer 2026, offering FREE museum admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve members, from May 16 through September 7, 2026.
