A special thank you to the Custom and Classic Car Education Foundation for their generous support of the Classic Motor Museum's Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Program (ATAP).

Pictured from left to right are Dave Bielecki of the Custom and Classic Car Education Foundation, ATAP apprentices Will Bridges and Sam Fike, and Doug Wood of the Custom and Classic Car Education Foundation. The Foundation has generously donated a tire machine and wheel balancer that will enhance the training opportunities available to our apprentices.

The equipment will be installed in our garage at 906 S. Talbot Street in St. Michaels, which is currently undergoing renovation.

Partnerships like this help prepare the next generation of automotive technicians by providing real-world learning opportunities and workforce-ready skills. We are grateful to the Custom and Classic Car Education Foundation for investing in our students and helping strengthen the future of the automotive trades.

The Memorial Day Parade will take place Rain or Shine on Saturday, May 23rd from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Come watch the parade, then join us afterward at the Classic Motor Museum to see the participating vehicles in person.

The St. Michael’s Fire Department will be grilling, so stop by and enjoy the festivities as our community comes together to honor and remember those who served. β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™

The parade will start at Dodson Avenue (near the entrance to the Maritime Museum) and continue down Talbot Street to Seymour Ave.

This incredible gift will provide valuable hands-on training opportunities for students in our Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Program (ATAP), helping prepare them for the future of the automotive industry. The vehicle will also play a role in supporting upcoming Museum initiatives.

One Hundred Years. Two Machines. One Story of Innovation at the Classic Motor Museum

The Classic Motor Museum of St. Michaels is proud to unveil a new exhibit pairing a 1910 International Harvester with a 2010 Tesla Roadster, displayed side by side for the first time.

Separated by a century, these two remarkable machines reflect how engineering evolvesβ€”from visible gears and iron to advanced electronics and modern materials.

These aren’t just old and new vehicles β€” they’re bookends of an industrial age.

Now on exhibit. We invite you to come see a hundred years of innovation under one roof.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to Betsy Griffin of Adams Multi Media for awarding us a Community Impact Card through Thrivent’s Live Generously program.

Our Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Program (ATAP) students - led by our dedicated volunteer instructor, Jim McCrea - are truly grateful for your recognition and support. Your generosity helps us continue providing meaningful learning experiences for our students.

You’ll see a few photos below from the visit, including Jim with a couple of our ATAP students proudly representing the program, and Betsy with our Executive Director, Natalie Stamerro.
