"This was my very first Studio & Gallery sign. It was hand-painted on both sides by my good friend and fellow artist, Elias San Miguel—a surprise gift from him. At the time, I was located at 732 S. Alamo St., right across from the Liberty Bar, and my neighbor was Andy Benavides. It was my first taste of having a storefront, complete with two large display windows."

We don't step out very much anymore, but I wanted to support Oscar Galvan and Jose Cosme two regulars at Gallista Gallery. Oscar and Martin E. Rangel had their opening at Centro Cultural Aztlan last Friday and Cosme's at Dock Space Gallery. Cosme helped me out at the gallery for several years. Congratulations to both of them, keep on painting. Alicia Galvan Oscars mother was also a regular with the poets at Gallista. Puro Gallo Compa!
