" FRIENDS! how have ya been?
its been about 6 months since i even been on here. some difficult changes have occurred recently. back in december, my family had to bury my Father. he lived a very full life, made it all the way to 93! a week before he passed, my only daughter had her very 1st child, a breath-taking little girl, and my father was able to see and touch his great grandaughter with his his own hands, it wasnt til a week later that his health failed him like in 24 hours. but, he passed away in his own house that he bought, surrounded by around 20 cousins of mine, my daughter, mom, and brother. not alone in some cold hospital with strangers. and he passed away peacefully in his sleep. no pain, no misery, just very peaceful, so i couldnt imagine a more positive way to go. since then, the whole family has been coming by to check on my mom, she's 90. she has surprised all of us on how bravely she has accepted and dealt with her loss. they were married for 67 years. it is now june, and i am just now slowly starting to come back to life. in time, i will be posting concerts and stuff i find on this page again. and i'll also pick up my guitar again and shake off some of the rust in my fingers. theres no rush.
anyways. i just felt like checking in on here with everybody, let yall know i havent forgotten about all of you, and assure you i will be back up to speed very soon now.
