6th On 7th Photography Workshop

We're a community photo workshop and gallery serving veterans and underserved adults in SF!

Started in 1992 under the name 6th Street Photography Workshop by the Tenants and Owners Development Corporation (TODCO) and helmed by educator Tom Ferentz, we have been a social resource for members of the underserved South of Market community and military veterans to learn photography skills and art techniques, providing education and space for public showings. Since 2014 TODCO has provided a ga

llery space on 7th and Mission Streets, where we hold weekly workshops (online and in-person), exhibit images, create projects, and assist members with their creative expression, camera skills, and printmaking. Anyone is welcome to come in during our gallery hours and enjoy the gorgeous work on the walls and learn about our program!

New workshop coming - Flat bed scanner photography 🙌📸

Swing by 6th on 7th on Thursday April 30th from 1-3PM. We will be joined by long time member and friend Don Adams who will give a demonstration on his signature scanner photography method.

No equipment required! (Bring something to scan if you want)

Next 6th on 7th show this weekend!
Come by one Saturday April 25th from Noon to 4 pm. This time we are exploring narrative photography through images that serve to tell a story.
We will also be joined by guest artist Catalin Stef who brings his artful minimalist images primarily created in his San Francisco apartment.

Photowalks from March!
