Scenes from an install. At Big Bull Creek Park in Edgerton Kansas for the installation of “Picnic”, our two monumental bird sculptures. With the incredible staff getting it done. The final touch to our sculpture “Picnic”, soon to be installed in Edgerton Kansas, are these four bronze plaques cast from native prairie grass. These are some of the native plant species that the team are working to restore in the park. These plants create habitat for insects, birds and many other species. These plaques also add another layer of interaction to our sculpture, creating a textured surface that can be explored through touch and frottage (rubbing). Many thanks to the mold maker supreme .nicholson.31 for helping us realize these beautiful bronzes!
