Last night we kicked off June with our First Friday Pottery Throw Down supporting Las Cumbres Community Services.

The organization provides vital support for individuals and families across Northern New Mexico facing social, emotional, and developmental challenges. We are grateful to partner with them.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make, connect, and give back.

Our July 3 Throw Down will benefit St. Elizabeth Shelters and Supportive Housing. We hope to see you there!

June is here and we’re kicking it off with our First Friday Pottery Throw Down supporting Las Cumbres Community Services.

Las Cumbres Community Services provides vital support for individuals and families across Northern New Mexico facing social, emotional, and developmental challenges.

Each month, we host a local nonprofit for a free pottery class, and all event proceeds are donated to their work. Since 2018, this community has helped raise $129,175.15 for local nonprofits.

Spend the weekend in the studio with EJ and Anthony exploring drawing, underglaze, and sgraffito in a relaxed, community-focused workshop.

Day one covers playful, beginner-friendly drawing and underglaze work. Day two brings it into sgraffito carving on greenware.

Surface Design Weekend: From Drawing to Sgraffito

Join EJ and Anthony for a two-day workshop exploring drawing, underglaze, and sgraffito techniques.

May 30-May 31
10 AM to 1 PM
$150

Day one focuses on beginner-friendly drawing and underglazing techniques. Day two covers sgraffito carving on greenware. All skill levels are welcome.

The workshop fee includes one bisque tile, one greenware piece, materials, tools, and firing.

Have your own piece? Feel free to bring it for day one.

If you’re a local artist or studio without kiln access or you just need some extra firing support, we’re here to help!

Paseo Pottery offers Cone 10 kiln firings and kiln rentals for both members and non-members. Non-members can take advantage of our bisque and glaze firings at just $0.14 per cubic inch, with both firings included.

We also offer full kiln rentals for artists and studios needing extra space or an entire kiln.
