Happy weekend! We hope to see you NEXT WEEKEND at Kids' Art Fest on Sunday, June 7, from 11 AM to 3 PM. This free outdoor celebration will feature hands-on art activities for children of all ages, along with face painting, giant bubbles, live art demos, yummy food vendors, and more. Admission and all activities are free for everyone (food purchases not included).

Kids' Art Fest is sponsored by Rotary Club of Santa Paula, Bank of the Sierra, Gold Coast Health Plan, and the Smith-Hobson Foundation Fund at Ventura County Community Foundation.

“It’s never too late to begin again.” That’s the sentiment behind Ojai artist Pam Grau’s new solo exhibition, A Woman’s Painted Journey, on view now through September 13, 2026, at the Santa Paula Art Museum.

A lifelong mixed media artist, Grau’s newest works blend hand-painted papers, scanned textures, and digital tools, and reflect her recent shift toward a lighter, more sustainable way of making art.

Visit SPAM Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM.

We're wrapping up our final week of programming in partnership with Santa Paula Unified School District's ASPIRE After School Program! This school year, we delivered more than 1,000 hours of arts education to over 620 elementary students across 6 school sites—and we're excited to do it again next school year!

There's still time to register for our Coil Basketry Workshop (Ages 16+) on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6 PM to 9 PM, inside SPAM's Cole Creativity Center! Teaching artist Kathy Prekoski will teach you the fundamentals and support you in designing and creating your own baskets.

The cost of this workshop is $42 per person. All skill levels are welcome, including total beginners, and all materials are provided.

Kids' Summer Art Camp: Clay Sculpture for ages 11-16 begins Monday, June 8, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM inside SPAM's Cole Creativity Center! Campers will sculpt, paint, and create multiple projects using air-dry clay while exploring their creativity in a fun, hands-on environment.

Last night, we celebrated the opening of the 2026 Santa Paula High School Art Show! This annual show is one of six student exhibitions presented each year by the Santa Paula Art Museum.

The exhibit showcases outstanding works by 9th-12th grade students enrolled in foundational art, drawing, sculpture, and advanced art classes at SPHS.

Awards were juried by our friends at The Santa Paula Society of the Arts. Congratulations to all of the exhibiting artists and award winners for their incredible creativity and hard work throughout the school year!

The Museum's 2026 Student Exhibition Program is sponsored by John Logan and Tommy Tonge.
