Delighted that "Sacred" and the incredible artist Io Palmer got this wonderful nod in Cascade PBS's Art x NW. Our thanks to the lovely Brangien Davis for celebrating Io and her powerful work.

Please watch Brangien's 9/25 interview with Io for "Art by Northwest" - it illuminates the creation and life-force central to Io's work. I have a link in my Instagram bio links (.creative.arts). And swipe here to see images of Io's work in "Sacred."

Then see the work in person! It's such a joyous installation, and I feel honored to work with Io and provide a platform to share her inspiring art.

About - "Good Form" celebrates the work of three PNW ceramicists with very different takes on the medium. Connecting their work is a reverence for the materials and techniques, with each artist exploring observations of the human condition with varying degrees of humor and benevolence.

August is winding down, and we’re gearing up for something fresh. Our upcoming exhibition Good Form has been featured in The Seattle Times September Art Guide as a must-see show. A huge thanks to Vansynghel for the highlight!

Opening September 13, Good Form brings together three standout PNW ceramicists, each reimagining the medium in surprising ways.

Dirk Staschke’s wall reliefs walk the line between painting and sculpture, using optical illusion and dark humor to expose the cracks in our idealized constructs.

Ryan Kelly riffs on 19th-century Staffordshire figurines and mid-century kitsch, creating ceramic works that explore taste, sophistication, and the art of high–low contrasts.

Sonja Peterson introduces us to her curious, lemon-skinned creatures in Sour Parade. A quirky, heartfelt series that explores resilience through surreal, anthropomorphic forms.

We can’t wait to share this one with you. Good Form opens September 13 at AMcE Creative Arts.

We’re excited to share a recent review of our current exhibition, Constructs, by the incredible team at ARCADE NW Publishing.

The piece offers a thoughtful look at how the show invites reflection on the ways we build and rebuild—personally, physically, and emotionally. Each artist brings a distinct perspective on processes of destruction and reconstruction, and the review captures these with care and insight.

If you haven’t had the chance to see Constructs yet, we hope this inspires you to stop by. The exhibition is on view through August 31 at AMcE Creative Arts.
