The Morgan Township Historical Society Museum at 6464 Okeana Drewersburg Road will be open on Election Day, May 5th. from 10 am to 2 pm.. The museum was damaged during the Okeana flooding but will be open featuring a display of Calendars the Society published and sold during its early years. A new Calendar is being published for 2027 and will be available for purchase soon.

The work the Trustees arranged to dry out the museum necessitated removal of all artifacts during the drying out process. The support of the Trustees and the many volunteers who removed items and returned them clean was very much appreciated. See less

The Morgan Township Historical Society Museum at 6464 Okeana Drewersburg Road will be open on Election Day, May 5th. from 10 am to 2 pm.. The first Morgan Township Historical Society Meeting of 2026 will be held on March 21st at 10 am at the Morgan Township Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Rd. Emily Mullen of The Mullen Dairy & Creamery will discuss the history of the dairy farm in Okeana. Coffee, tea and cookies will be served and all are welcome. Morgan Township Historical Society meeting on Saturday November 15 at 10 am at the Morgan Township Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Road will have Brian Smith, director of the Butler County Historical society present "The Butler Boys". His presentation will highlight the Civil War story of a regiment formed largely from Butler County men. All are welcome and coffee, tea and cookies will be served.
