Mangum Pottery of Turkey knob is situated on seventy acres of rolling pasture and forested hills in the beautiful mountains of Alleghany County. Since 1975 Robin and Bet Mangum created a national following producing pottery and ceramic art in a wide variety of function and form. In early 2009 Bet passed away. Robin is continuing their life's work with his two assistants. The studio is a popular de

stination for avid collectors wanting to visit a working studio in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. They are open for visitors year round.

Big news!
I sold my house and studio at Turkey K**b.
However, I am leasing the studio thru Chistmas. I will be here and working thru Dec.15th. After that the Turkey K**b studio will be no more and I will be relocating to Ivy Ln. just off the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Sparta.
Of course, my work will at Mangum/Cater on Main thru the year and on SALE after Thanksgiving.
