Today, like many before, we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made by our service members. We honor them for their service.

“It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.” — Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg Address

Exciting News! Sunderland’s Graves Memorial Library building, the notable historic structure in the center of town, will be undergoing much needed repair work this summer. The work will be on the building’s exterior and includes the chimney, replacing mortar, and the porch and steps.

The Graves Memorial Library is a town-owned building, and the project was funded by Community Preservation Act (CPA).
