Fun and quick project with a dollar tree frame! 🌷I had a blast creating this!!! This would be a fun afternoon project for anyone and very inexpensive. I painted directly on the cardboard backing. I think painting insects or birds would be really lovely in this frame as well! What art projects are you currently working on? Share your ideas!

Today in Visual Arts, creativity was flying in every direction! 🎨✨
Everyone is working at their own pace, bringing completely different visions to life—and it’s amazing to watch it all unfold.

✔️ One stained glass window COMPLETE
✔️ Two Banksy collages in the works
✔️ One dragon eye and bowl sculpted to perfection

Every table held a different masterpiece in progress, and the imagination in this room never disappoints. I cannot wait to see these projects fully come to life! 💫🖌️

Today at McKittrick Elementary School we wrapped up the school year with our final art project… and the dragon eyes have finally found their color! 🐉🎨✨

From shimmering scales to fiery imaginations, these students poured their creativity, courage, and ingenuity into every brushstroke. Watching their ideas come to life has been pure magic, and honestly, these kids never stop amazing me. 💚

Here’s to a year full of color, laughter, messy paint hands, and unforgettable creativity. Until next school year… keep dreaming big and creating boldly! 🌈🖌️

This week in Visual Arts class we continued working on our Banksy-inspired collages, and they are really starting to take form! 🎨✨

Banksy is known for his bold street art style that combines powerful images, layered textures, and thought-provoking messages. The students have been exploring that same creative approach through collage, contrast, and imaginative storytelling in their own unique pieces. It has been so exciting watching their creativity come alive with every layer they add!

We can’t wait to share the finished artwork soon!

Some students wrapped up their bold and colorful palm frond masks—each one full of personality and unique design. Others dove into their Banksy-inspired collages, experimenting with contrast, message, and street art style.

So fun seeing different projects come to life all in one class!

This week Visual Arts was full of creativity! 🎨✨

Some students continued bringing their palm frond masks to life with amazing textures and details, others explored bold ideas through their Banksy-inspired collages, and one proudly finished their fun pointillism paintings—dot by dot!

There’s something so special about watching kids express themselves in their own unique ways. Every project tells a story, and I love seeing their confidence grow with each piece they create! 💛
